- 4GB RAM/Memory (The more you have, the better and faster programs will run as Windows itself can use 2GB or more itself sometimes.)

*Please note that the requirements listed above are MINIMUM. If you already have or purchase a machine with only these minimum requirements or less, your performance and speed may be severely reduced. Technology changes every day and computers need to be upgraded from time to time and unfortunately more often than not. Purchasing a computer to run your business software should take into consideration not only the Kennel Connection software but anything else you plan to run on this computer. If you ever have any questions regarding the purchasing of a new computer, please reach out to your Technical Support department and they will be more than happy to provide you recommendations. One of the unique things about Kennel Connection is that you do not need an active internet connection to use it! Internet is necessary to utilize some of our newer features, like the Client Portal and Live Access, but it is never necessary to run your business!
Yes! Kennel Connection requires Windows software, but can be run on Macs. The setup requires a few extra steps.
Once you have a virtual environment setup on your Mac, you'll also need to obtain a licensed copy of Windows and install Windows OS to the virtual machine. Then KC can be used.

Our Live Access & Client Portal feature will allow you to access Kennel Connection on any computer, tablet, or mobile device with internet (no Windows necessary), as long as you have Kennel Connection installed on one primary Windows device.
With the release of our new Live Access & Client Portal feature, you can access Kennel Connection on any computer, tablet, or mobile device with an internet connection (no Windows necessary), as long as you have Kennel Connection installed on one primary Windows device.
This is better because in addition to being able to access your software remotely via a web browser, you still have full access to Kennel Connection via your primary desktop computer if there is ever an internet outage. This is something that no other competitor offers. Never skip a beat with Kennel Connection!
